COVID-19 Update

As everyone is learning to navigate through the COVID-19 crisis, Allendale Eye Care is working very hard to meet your urgent and emergency eye care needs.  We are also taking every precaution to keep our patients and staff safe and still be able to provide eye care services as the gradual reopening of Michigan begins.  We have added acrylic barriers in key patient areas, closed off the playroom and coffee area.  Our door will remain locked and each patient will notify us by phone on arrival and we will instruct you from there.  Masks or face covering will be required by everyone entering the office, temps will be taken upon arrival (including staff) and our schedule will provide proper spacing. Everything will be handled by appointment only, including optical services.  We will continue to offer tele-health visits when this remains a viable option to limit the need of coming in for various follow-ups and outside of normal hour emergency care.  We will continue to provide extensive sanitary conditions.  We still encourage anyone with high risk underlying conditions to protect themselves and continue to hold off on routine care until conditions are more improved.  We will continue to be here to support our community and our patients.
